I am a student of 03/07 in Anderson Junior College. Currently, I am not enjoying life in AJ but I must say that I am satisfied with the school in almost every aspect right now. I chose AJ due to the convenient proximity from my home and of course, knowing that it is a good JC in Singapore.
Often, friends and relatives would ask me the question of why did I pick AJC as my first choice, I would get an incredulous facial expression when I give them the reason that it is near my home. But in my opinion, that is completely rational to me as travel time to and fro from school is a paramount factor in leading a comfortable and healthy school life. Imagine spending long hours on the commute just to get from A to B, especially when you are exhausted from long school day, to me, is an extremely unpleasant affair. Moreover, considering the time wasted on the commute, it is extremely important to have a school of acceptable location.
Other than that, I am an easy-going person. I like to joke and I value them because let’s face it, school is not entirely interesting and fun, joking around is probably what pulls me through the day. Also, my CCA is basketball and I have been playing the game since Primary five. To say that it is just my CCA is a misnomer, as I have been playing basketball almost everyday since I can remember and it is already a part of my life. Although at times it can be extremely frustrating. Besides basketball, my other interest would be to learn and perform magic. It appeals to me as I am always interested as to how it can affect people. To perform a magic effect and get a good reaction is priceless.
